Belgium, mid-19th century. Beautiful DEPREZ system spindle pepper shaker made in Liège. Cal. 7 mm. Serial no. "4340". Six rifled barrels. The frame in its white polished finish, engraved with plant motifs. The cylinder is hollowed out in its black bronzed finish and finely chased with vegetal motifs en suite. It is stamped "ELG". Folding trigger. Ivory stock plates. The steel ramrod is housed in the stock. All screw heads are chased. Partly functional single-action mechanism, the cylinder does not engrain with each percussion. The inside of the barrels are clean with good scratches. It comes in its shaped carrying case, sheathed in black morocco on the outside and red leather on the inside. 12.5 cm (barrels 5 cm). (Patina of age, mechanism to be overhauled, wear and small accidents to the case. Good condition).
