Belgium, late 19th century. Ring percussion cyclist-type pocket pistol. Cal. 5.5 mm. Serial no. 94. All metal parts with rusty gray patina, originally nickel-plated. Frame and loading door stamped "U" under crown. Round barrel with front sight, ending in an artillery-style bead at the muzzle. Finely checkered black ebonite stock plates. Mexican-style trigger. Single cocking mechanism partly functional, the hammer is very hard and rubs in the frame, to be overhauled. 13.5 cm (barrel 6 cm). (Wear and tear, stock plates damaged, as is).
