Ottoman Empire, 2nd half 19th century. Yatagan sword, without scabbard. Welded brass mount decorated with coral cabochons and two large lugs. Strong yatagan blade with gray patina and stains in places, single-edged and flat-backed, decorated with silver arabesques and cabalistic inscriptions. 69 cm (blade 55.5 cm). (Wear and tear. Fairly good condition).
