France, mid-19th century. Pinfire pistol with two tilting tabletop barrels. Cal. approx. 11 mm. All metal parts with stained gray patina and minor traces of oxidation. Smooth octagonal barrels. The chests are chased with a lattice decoration. Retractable triggers. Renaissance-style walnut stock with stepped steel cap and ring. Mechanism with two partially functional cocking notches. Inside of barrels with surface oxidation. 25 cm (barrels 12.5 cm). (wear, missing parts and accidents, one trigger damaged and missing, one hammer does not hold the cocking notches, stock detached from trigger guard, stock ring missing, as is).
