North Africa, late 19th-early 20th century. Saber made from a French saber blade. Leather-covered wooden frame, straight, oxidized steel blade with two cutting edges and central gutter. Wooden scabbard covered with thin rope and small oxidized sheet metal stinger. 102 cm (blade 89 cm). (wear and accidents, as is).
