Soviet Union, 2nd half 20th century. Soviet banner decorated with a medallion featuring a profile portrait of Lenin. Rectangular in red taupe velvet. In the center, Lenin's portrait printed on white fabric and machine-sewn in zig-zag stitch, with yellow Cyrillic lettering embroidered in chain stitch. The lower end is pointed, the edges decorated with yellow bangs. 59 x 37 cm. (wear and tear, fairly good condition).
