In-8, caramel-colored half-shagreen with bands. (Maumon Abbey). Spine and band on the front cover slightly sun-faded; paper slightly yellowed with a few foxing spots on approximately 10 pages toward the end of the book. Uncensored edition published the same year as the original. Covers and spine missing. Pages 17–18, 121–122, and 301–302 are present and uncensored. Complete with the four photographs inserted between pp. 296 and 297 and the 12 pp. of Céline’s work at the end of the book.
