An interesting, autograph, signed letter to Jean Bourgoin written by Curnonsky, 4 pages, dated Riec, July 10, 1942. Curnonsky, the “Prince of Gastronomes,” humorously recounts his stay at the inn run by his friend Mélanie Rouat in Riec-sur-Bélon, located in the “restricted zone,” in the German-occupied inn, and discusses the political situation... He discourages his “handsome nephew” from joining him, given the circumstances.
