Clock in chased and gilded regule with allegorical decoration featuring two female figures on either side of the dial, one holding a sickle and a sheaf of wheat and the other a bird, each leaning on the foot of a flowery vase. Presented on a wooden and gilded stucco base, the whole resting on a blackened wooden base covered with a curved glass globe. Second half of the 19th century. With key, stamp and balance. Dimensions of the clock : 36 x 47 x 16 cm. Dimensions of the globe : 53 x 57 x 25 cm. (wear of gilding).
